The socies have BABIES! I don't know how many. The nest is heavy! There is a fat one on the top getting feathers now!!!
Whoop I am over the moon and don't even know why.
Looks like a white pied. I put the nest back in a hurry!!!! I have to take it down to look. Their are eggs in there with the BABIES???????? What about that?
Kinda explains why they have been eating like feathered pork!

Congratulations My society George and Gracie had four babies back in march so they are about three mths old and they have been so much fun watching them grow,they are still so entertaining ,the six of them rule the cage with there chatter and singing you will enjoy them.I took the nest out as soon as last baby fledge and they sleep all together on one of the top perches ,when I look at them at night it looks like there on top of one another sometimes mama sleeps way on the other end of the perch and I tell her I don't blame her they still follow her around quite a bit and when she takes her bath they all jump in with her when she has a piece of lettuce they want it,they are a riot my four look just like dad hard to tell them apart so I named them enie,menie,minie,moe.share pictures when they fledge love to see the babies Enjoy

I recently had Society babies for the first time. The first one was born four weeks ago and then the rest over the next five days. Originally I thought there were only four eggs but it turned out there were actually six. They all hatched and survived and now are adorable healthy happy little birds. They recently left the nest, are bathing, and eating on their own although still demand their parents feed them as well.
Congratulations on your babies! This is one of the most exciting things I have experienced and you will too!

I wanted to look today. When I touched the nest out FLEW A BABY BIRD!!!!!
I got my wish this one has a handsome crest much fuller than mama. He is a white and Gray pied so adorable. He is actually the cutest baby bird ever hatched. I was sorry to scare it catching it to put it back but I wasn't sure it was ready to be out. Can't wait until they are all out. I think their are 2. We will see!

PICTURES WOMAN!!

Trying to get pictures of 2 very flighty wild BABIES. They are both CRESTED!!!
One is a beautiful FAWN and the other white pied. Beautiful little ones. Holding them young produces more docile birds. I can't even get them to hold still in the cage for 2 seconds to get a picture.
