Lots of eggs but no chicks
I have a mated pair of zebras who produce many eggs but no chicks. The eggs get moved from the nest to the (now dry) bird bath and then the nest gets more eggs and the process repeats. The male and his previous mate created the same pattern although one chick was hatched and kicked out of or fell from the nest to the floor of the cage where I rescued it. They are getting a standard seed mix and millet sprays. The room is quiet except for an occasional load of laundry and the male and his previous mate were in another room and the same pattern occurred. They are in darkness and undisturbed from sundown to sunup. I have had the male for a couple of years and the female for four months. Any ideas on why this might be happening and what I can do about it?

That is unusual, as Zebras are usually quite prolific. Is it possible that the male is older than you realize? If he was already an adult when you got him, perhaps he is now aging out, so no longer fertile.
