Hello friends my gouldian pair are raising 2 chicks, now its almost 10 day they have hatched the female used to sit in nest in the night but from past 2 day she is not sleeping in the nest instead she is with the male outside on the perch, they feed the chicks in regular intervals all day, the question is it normal for the parents to stay out in the night when the chicks are 10 days old?

At 10 days they are left alone more depending on the weather and temperatures.
Best of luck

Quite normal.
After a week or 10 days the chicks no longer need the parents sitting to keep them warm. They are able to generate enough body heat on their own.

Hahaha. My first gouldian clutch.... I freaked when they stopped sitting at about 10 days, pulled the chicks and handfed them. Debbie was like "Nooooooo!

" It was too late to give them back after I had pulled them for a day or so.
Man, I was a hot mess. I still laugh about that.
