hello friends bought a pair parrot of finch, male is a seagreen and female is rf pied the male is building a nest in a box i provided him, is this normal with parrot finch that they build nest without any reason or this is sign that they are in breeding condition, i am providing them with corn and egg food daily and crushed peas and some greens aswell thank you

sharath1, how exciting! I would love to have parrot finches! Working toward that. Too many *kids* so there's a "no vacancy" sign posted by my husband. He's a party pooper!

hi Shannylee has of now i dont see any chasing by the male he is all by himself in building the nest the female is quiet relaxed and having a good time munching on the base of the cage with cucumber ,corn peas and egg food which i feed her

i would like to here from any of the parrot finch experts about this nest building thing thank you
