Brat & Riccos parenting update

Post by Babs _Owner » Sun Nov 27, 2016 12:15 pm

Well, after Brat tossed a chick and killed another (I believe at this point accidently while tossing the first chick), all is well in their family.

I fed her kids early on each morning to keep them strong and beggin. And 2 days before fledging I pulled the nest out, put the kids in a nest on the shelf to keep them begging in the parents face and ensure the feedings continued.

Brat & Ricco are weaning them attentively with no help from me for over a week . Kids are healthy, strong, good flyers and started to eat and drink already. By the end of next week, I think they will be ready to go in juvie double flight.

Heres mom and dad with all four kids yesterday.

Just look at these darlings =D>
They are definitely looking very healthy.

What made me chuckle, is Brat, giving you the old stink eye
