Society pairing question

We have a male Society that is about 12-15 months old and is in a cage by himself. We have some Society juveniles that are 3.5 months old (3 females and 1 male).

Is it OK to put one of the females with the older male or should we wait until the female is older? We are eventually going to use this pair as a foster pair for our Cordon Bleus and will toss the Society eggs once the hen starts laying.

Your girls are too young to breed, and breed they will.
I would place your other male with this one for companionship, untill your girls are old enough to start a family (at around 9 to 10 months).

Thanks. That's what I thought. I put the male in with the other male and they seem to be getting along so far.

Pair them up as same sex pairs or trios. They will foster this way just as if they were paired up Male and female.
