Not Florida Fancys-they're Florida Silvers!

Post by slwatson » Thu Feb 16, 2017 11:03 am

Okay, so I'm still pretty new to the zebra breed, and had no idea there were so many kinds. I was told after posting my pics on a finch breeder site that what I have here are actually Florida Silvers. The hen is Florida Silver, and the male might be split Florida Fancy/Florida Silver. The babies all look Florida Silver to me :)

They're beautiful! I'm new to finches, I have 2 zebras, but I love looking up the different mutations and Florida Fancy definitely caught my eye!
