We No Longer Have A Pinky...

Poor little Pinky 
Looks like Dad is still grieving his mate, and lost in the memories.
He sat on Pinky, but forgot to feed him, sigh....
I had a feeling this morning, but Pinky was moving and seemed to be ok. Yet somehow...you know when you get that uneasy feeling nagging at you?
I should have checked earlier, but didn't.
When I went to check about an hour ago, poor Pinky was gone, crop completely empty.
I removed the other eggs and placed them in the community basket, under many fluffy and willing butts, and now we wait.
Dad, went right back to the empty nest and got right back in, seemingly oblivious to the fact that the eggs were no longer there.

I didnt realize momma bird had died. I need to reread that post. He was sitting as he should and you thought all was well. I would have completely overlooked that too if the daddy was sitting sight.
