My RCCB pair were successful at raising 2 babies. They are doing well..

I also think my Orange Cheek waxbills have babies.. :shock: We shall see!

Congrats on your success not an easy thing to do. What kind of rearing food are you feeding them.

Thank you! I feed them egg food, green food, millet, live mini mealworms, bloodworms (dry for fish), regular seed, and freeze dried mealworms chopped up.

Very Awesome congrats, Its hard enough to get babies, especially parent raised babies for the cordon species. Hopefully your parents keep it up.

Trisha they are adorable always wanted a pair of orange cheeks never seen any around here in MA.be sure to post pictures of those tiny babies when they fledge

Congrats! That is quite an accomplishment to have parent-raised RCCB babies! Can't wait to see how the Orange Cheeks do.

Hi Elana. RCCB babies are doing fine. I will try to get a better picture of them. Their color is really pretty now.

I still see the Orange Cheek parents going in to feed so I hope things are ok. I have seen the male RCCB looking in the nest along with the babies so I hope he would not go in and harm them. They are all in a big flight aviary cage like Sally has. Have you ever heard of the male of another species attacking the babies?
