My Orange Cheek babies fledged this morning. 2 came out yesterday but went back in the nest last night. This morning 4 are out! I don't know if more are in the nest or not. Sally is coming over this morning to band them for me.
Does anyone have experience with Orange Cheeks? do you know if the babies return to the nest at night for a while?

Congrats, well done!
Yes, it's normal for fledgelings to return to the nest to sleep.
Btw, what food did the parents raise them on?

These babies are so cute! Unfortunately, the very first one I banded seemed to be having trouble. It was falling over in the bottom of the cage, acting like it had a stroke. Trisha told me later that it had passed. I don't know if it was something I did or what, but I felt so sad to have lost one.

Sally it wasn't your fault. Everyone else is doing fine. I appreciate all your help and advice.
