Hello, i am new to the forum. My name is Will. I have had zebra finches for a long time, i then had to make changes for a few years and have restarted with some beautiful zebras. I have only had one pair raise a clutch years ago and honestly it was so new to me and so early after i got them, i didnt do much to help out. Now i have a mated pair with a clutch. About a week or so old. I have been scared to go ahead with the usual diet other then seeds, like eggs, veggies, etc... i cant find the answers i need, so here i hope i can get some answers. Can i feed my finches egg and veggies and usual with a cluth of 4? Thankyou.

Hello, and welcome!
You not only can feed them this things, you must do it, especially when they are in breeding process.
The seeds don't have enough protein that the chicks will need to be raised, nor enough calcium, minerals, vitamins...
So, a basic diet must contain:
- A variety of seeds.
- Calcium (eggshell, cuttlebone for ex.)
- Protein (hard boiled eggs, egg food, live food)
And you can add some pellets, apple and kale as well.

Not a problem.
When in doubt is always better to ask
