Good day to All...
Well, it's the invasion of the Gouldian Pinkies again.
Because I was finding eggs here and there in the Gouldian flight, I decided to throw in a few nests just to see what'll happen.
Well, guess what happened?
I suspected for a few days that there was something going on, but yesterday I happened to hear the unmistakable sounds of Gouldi chicks and got a glimpse of pink bobble heads moving around in one nest.
The hardboiled egg food is moving quickly, so someone is feeding someone obviously.
Spring is definitely having an effect on these kids, lol.

Yay! Rainbow farts!
Your gouldian crew has been together quite a while, so it will be interesting to see how they all interact with the babies and juvies.

I think we shall see a flock type interaction, where the kids will simply be accepted by the rest of the group, but then again, I could be wrong.
We'll just have to wait and see.

Congratulations! We also have 4 new Gouldian chicks that started peeping today. Today was the first time in weeks that the mother and father were both out of the nest at the same time for a few minutes (at least when I was in the room) so I looked in the nest box.

Thanks guys, and a-gouldian, congratulations as well.
This time I'm free styling it. They get to do it all on their own, no help from me whatsoever. No nest checks, no interruptons or interventions, just mother nature to tell them what to do.
I know there is/are infant (s) in one nest, no idea how many. The other nest they're sitting so tight that you'd need a crobar to pry them off. I think it's my Lady Blue and Scout, but not 100% sure. If it is them, the chicks might be interesting...

Thanks Ricardo,
They paired up all on their own, first mate and first clutch for both.
Hope they know what they're doing
