They hatched!

Post by Millenia » Fri May 19, 2017 9:41 am

I guess patience really is necessary. Look what I found this morning after not checking the nest for 3 days. Sneaky little buggers. Just when I was debating when to pull the eggs. There's four in there in case you can't tell. I would have posted this on the other thread but I can't figure out how to add photos to a subsequent post.

Whoo hoo!

Congratulations!!!

Now you see why I always recommend leaving the eggs for at least another week after the ETA. Our counting and their timing are not always in sync.

Four babies, and another 3 eggers to go :D

For sure. I was trying to be positive about it but stopped checking the nest after the last time I posted they didn't hatch.

I listened for cheaping but never heard that either. I was starting to worry that they might start laying more eggs and I wouldn't know the new ones from the old ones. I shone the flashlight in one last time and saw something pink so I got my camera and was shocked to find 4 in there. :YMPARTY: :YMPARTY: :YMPARTY:
