The first Gouldian Egg hatched about four hours ago and I have not seen the parents feed it. How soon should the parents start feeding the new born? The couple are still sitting the nest by rotating turns.
I offered them a smashed egg and also sprouted seeds each in it's own container.

The hatchling can survive for a day or two off of its yolk sac, so they do not need to feed immediately. My society finches seem to feed starting on day two, but gouldians may be different.

All depends on the parent.
Mine usually start feeding on day 1. Both gouldian and society. Though it is hard to say for certain, as my nestcam views straight down, and the parents are above the chick, so I cannot see the actual feeding.

No. The nestcams are connected to an old standalone PC that is dedicated to my nestcams. That PC is not connected to the internet at all.
If someone want to see what I see,
- I have to take a pix of the screen with my camera
- then download the image to my other PC (that is connected to the internet),
- to then upload to a web site.
