Babies

I Have no idea when they hatched
There were 4 eggs 3 got hatched i think it's been 2 week
And the parents still sitting on them and not feeding , why?
Please help guys

If the babies hatched in the last day or two, they may be digesting their yolk sacs; this is normal. If the parents aren't feeding by day three, this is a cause for concern. Birds new to breeding may not be experienced enough to know what to do from the start, but should figure it out eventually.

But mine seems more than 2 days old , Bcs they are not bald they are fluffy right now

Zebra Finches are fuzzy when they hatch, Society Finches on the other hand are born naked.

Have your birds had babies before?

Supply them with good food, like hard boiled eggs and spray millet. Usually if they have enough good and nutritious foods they will begin feeding the infants sometime around second or third day.

Many times you will not see the parents feeding the chicks, unless you are constantly watching them for hours straight. If the chicks are alive on day 4, they are being fed.

Well, you said that you don't know when they hatched. But thought they are more than 2 days old. So if you think you are on day 4, that is your answer. They ARE being fed.

If the parents are not feeding the chicks, there is little/nothing that you can do about it. If the parents have plenty of food, it is up to them to feed the chicks.

If the parents are not feeding the chicks, there is indeed something you CAN do about it....you can handfeed the chicks at least until they are strong enough to beg, at which point the parents will quite often take over and feed.

If by the end of the second day or the third day there is no food in the infants crops, then you can start handfeeding tiny amounts of hand rearing formula. It is difficult and time consuming, but sometimes the only way to save a clutch.

It's not easy Naji, and can often be heart breaking, but it can be done.

That said, I really hope that your parents will feed and that all will go as it should.
