We have three new Black-headed PB GB Gouldian chicks that are 23 days old today. They should fledge any day now but for now are content staying in their nest and being fed well by the parents. We received this pair on 4/19 and two weeks later they were laying eggs.

Thanks Babs. This pair was sold to us as a "proven" pair who had successfully bred in their first breeding season. They are 2 year old birds and this is the start of their second breeding season.

These three fledged today at 26 days. Refreshed the nest box with clean nesting material. Looks like the parents are going to start their second clutch soon!
