Dad not sleeping with babies

Hi. Is it normal for java to not sleep in the nest with babies at night? I think what has happened is that the father is in one nest with 4 babies and the mother is in another with 2 babies. They both sit in the nests during the day but i noticed tonight the father is sleeping outside. Will the babies die?

How old are the babies?

I'm not sure really. Couple of weeks maybe? They look slightly bigger than the onea in the mothers box.

If they're getting feathers and are at room temperature, they should be fine. My society finches would leave their nestlings alone for a few hours at 80°F, and all of them turned out well.
