On Thursday I should be going to get a pair of white finches but have beven given some advice by someone on the forum that with canarys two whites can't breed so can zebras if not then what about a pure white female and a white male with orange cheeks and dots

Fraza I think they can breed. Canaries are a different species, so their genetics rules will differ slightly.

Okay I'll give it a read

do your zebras have dark eyes? all white not tear markers?

if so they are likely all white pieds and yes they can be bred together

They have no tears but are black eyes

all white pieds...if you got them from the same source at the same time be sure they are not related if wanting to breed.

there are hens that are buff color depending where you are Florida Fancy or Isabel.

If yours are stark white then they are pied.

I'm in England and now you have said it they might be related so I might get a half white and half grey male and then a white female or the other way round thanks
