So I’ve been waiting waitin and waiting as I’ve lost my Callander date for when they should hatched and ones hatched today and there’s another fertile then there’s two fertile in the other nest. IS THE CHICK ZEBRA OR SOCIETY
So just need to explain something
My society laid 5 eggs and my zeb laid 5 eggs 3 days difference in laying
My society’s died
The male decided he’s not sitting on them without her
So I put all ten in the zeb nest
Candles them and 4 fertile
The male society paired with a new one so I put two of the reticle eggs back in his new nest
They are incubating well
So 4 eggs hatching
One already hatched in zeb but is it the society’s or is it the zebs

Sorry for it being confusing because it’s hard situation to explain basically zebs adopted society eggs then two given back to society but unsure which eggs are which
REASON I gave eggs back because it’s the zebs very first hatchlings didn’t want them to have kids of chicks on first go

Congratulations! If it's fuzzy, it's probably a zebra finch (some hatchling societies get their parents' down feathers stuck to them). If naked, it's a society.

Icearstorm it’s all skin with very fine white looking hairs coming near top of leg
Not feathers looks like tiny tiny bits of hair
