breeding goldfinch

im new
is possible to put 2 female goldfinch with 1 male in cage 1m / 0.70 / 0.40 cm ? [-o<

Will be ok to keep em in the cage but will definitely want a much bigger cage or better still a flight / avairy if yer intended to try and breed from em :-BD

thanks stuart :) I will try with my cage 1m 0.70 L 0.40 D because i haven't enough place .

That is actually a decent breeding cage size for gf.
But as Stuart says, if you could offer bigger would be better
What you need to do though is to only his a pair in the cage and separate them with a solid divider during winter. Gf males do like privacy, plus they sing a lot when separated. Beginning of February you use a grill as a divider so the pair starts bonding. Start feeding lots of protein seeds and eggfood so the pair gets into breeding mode and most importantly start raising the hours of light according to the actual outdoor daylight.
