Societies are much simpler, since the variations are also much simpler, as they don't have the cheek, teardrop, breast bar, side flanks, etc markings to vary.

The basics are that darker color is dominant to lighter color, and it's simple dominance, so follows basic genetics rules.
Pied shows up if present, and seems to increase the more pied you put together.

it's when you get into the greys and dilutes that it gets a little more complicated.
