Fraza

They won't.
Are your big chicks due to fledge by the 20th when the others are due to hatch?

Fraza

My post just vanished into thin air

What my response was....

The parents will probably feed the big loud chicks, and the young ones will more than likely get buried and starve.

Do you have another good pair to place these eggs under?

lovezebs no not really only other option is the zebra pair thst let the others die or I have an inexperienced society pair who have just laid eggs I could possibly swap the eggs round so that by the time the others pair eggs hatch then the chick will be fledged and then coco can bring up there chicks whilst they are bringing up there’s

Just add more fake eggs when all extra eggs hatch like this the little ones aren't buried,

Fraza

Hi Fraser, and congratulaions on the hatching.

Make sure the new infants are being fed, not just the big boy.

Keep an eye on the little one, to make sure that there is food in the crop,

Fraza

If it's not being fed, you will have to buy some hand feeding formula for birds and hand feed it until it fledges, or sadly let it die.
