Would you know?
Hey guys. Earlier crisis solved. I was wondering what is the normal size clutch for zebra finches? I had a female that has layed only 5 eggs. Is she likely to lay more is is this the most she is likely to lay? I hope you know the answer.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
Nick

Re: Would you know?
Hi there, its very likely that that is all she will lay. I found one of my females would normally lay 5 eggs whereas the other varied from 2-4 eggs. But zebras can lay anything from 2-8 eggs, it depends on the zebra finch as to how many eggs they lay.

Nick honey,
Asking the same question on different posts and threads, is not going to change the answer, lol......
From your posts, check it out:
"""I was wondering what is the normal size clutch for zebra finches? I had a female that has layed only 5 eggs. Is she likely to lay more is is this the most she is likely to lay? I hope you know the answer."""
Thanks in advance.

The answer is still the same as when I answered it last time, and when other people have answered it my boy, lol.
Patience is very important when attempting to breed birds.
Birds will lay as few or as many eggs that they will lay.
There is no way to predict a number, and no way to predict how many eggs in a clutch will be fertile.
You'll have to wait patiently like everybody else .

Re: Would you know?
Like I said to you Nick only a couple of days ago when you spoke to me via PM I clearly stated that you need to just sit and think about what yer gonna write as a post, yer need to get yer wording correct and not to be force full is exactly what I saidFinchLover&Breeder wrote: ok. sorry. didn't know I posted on other postings.
It appears you've not really listened and as already mentioned above putting other threads up asking the same questions won't get yer responses any quicker,
We're not silly and think that yer do know you've already asked the same questions because I know for fact that you've been hovering all over the forum as when I've replied to you, you barely even give me time to reply back and edit if need be before you reply back
I know yer wanna learn mate but yer way to impatient and hardly give anyone time to respond
