Society chicks getting big!

These three hatched last Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Yesterday my three society adults were all off the nest at the same time, which surprised me, but I was delighted to catch a glimpse of these huge chicks! Couldn’t resist snapping a picture.

Keep the egg food coming .

I keep giving them egg food and they won’t touch it!! Fresh egg food or the packaged stuff. They ate it before while breeding but not since the chicks have hatched. Weird little guys.

Very unusual indeed. Usually they would be inhaling the stuff at this stage of chick development.

Same mine demolish egg food straight away have you given them lots of veg then

Get another small pot of seeds and crumble abit of egg in so they can maybe get into it
