Dummy eggs for zebras?

Ok let me start by saying my zebras just had a clutch fledge and it looks to me like they are mating again. I really can’t deal with another clutch at this point and I’m wondering if dummy eggs is the way to go for preventing more egg laying?
Also, I didn’t get a good close look at the first clutch and need to know the color of Zebra Finch eggs? White or blue?
Another question, how long after mating does the hen begin laying her eggs?
I have an open canary type nest in my flight cage now and the mating pair love it. I removed the covered basket nest where the clutch was housed, tried removing the canary nest and the pair kind of went crazy without it. I was afraid they would get hurt so I put it back. I am planning on moving the whole family in a week or two to a much larger flight cage. Will this arrangement reduce the male’s aggression towards his fledglings? I have tassel type toys in the cage and he plays with them quite a bit. This cuts down on the feather pulling but he’s still somewhat mean to his kids.
A bunch of questions at once I know, but any and all help would be appreciated!
