Unstoppable pair breeding

So finchie my favourite zeb hasn’t bred for 3 months and now she will not stop wanting to breed with any male zebra near her and keeps breeding with her male a lot, but as it’s cold now in the aviary I don’t want her having chicks in there so I’ve had to bring her inside in the warm to allow her to breed has anyone else ever had this before ?
And will she stop it after this clutch ?

My Zebs won't stop either. I usually just try to pace their clutches. You can try putting the two Zebs in a cage with no nest and no nest material. Just remove any eggs you find on the ground and hopefully she should stop.

Flight Feathers yeh I’ve been told to do this before but she struggles with egg laying anyway so I don’t want to increase the chance of egg bound by giving her no where to lay that’s why I just have to give her a lot of calcium and nutrients when I see her contionously breeding that’s why she’s so fat haha
And I’m happy I’m not the only one

With societies and zebras, male + female + nests = eggs.
Hun, no way around that solid equation.
I too, like to keep nests and bonded pairs together. Societies get absolutely exhausted trying to perch sleep. They don't seem to have the grip for it. So I scoop up the eggs once she is done laying, toss them and throw in fakes to keep the hen sitting a good long while and give her a much needed rest.
The plastic cheap fake eggs are one of the most important items in my finchroom. That goes for ,my gouldians who won't knock it off too (and who will breed even without a nest in the foliage). ;)

Babs yeh well this is my problem I have the fake eggs and I’ve had to use these for my society pair but all my others don’t want to breed anyway as I’ve kept there diet low and it’s cold however this pie is crazy and won’t accept the fake eggs so I’m giving her her own way and hoping she will then stop

jheez zebras are hard work

You may have to separate her.
I had to do that with a zebra pair. The hen would NOT stop laying. She would lay eggs in anything, and when there was no place to lay her eggs in, she would drop them from the perch.
Only separating her from her mate eventually stopped her from laying.
And in her case, I had to stop her, cuz her chicks were DEMONS. They attacked and fought with any zebra other than their siblings. So I did not want her breeding any more demons.
