Oooooo I’m exited java egg fertile

So my java pair have laid eggs when I first saw I didn’t want to disturb there nest so I had a little peep through a hole but am sure there was 4 in there however I did see the society’s pinching nesting stuff out of there nest whikst they was out eating, then the next day I noticed the same society has missing feathers so has he been plucked and caused a fright to the hen that’s made an egg crack thereofe she’s ate the shell
Anyway I’ll skip to the point 1 out of three eggs are fertile and they shud be hatching in 4 days I think
One last question the male has started sleeping in the nest next to there’s is that normal ??????
