Hi All,

My Zebras have started a round of breeding lately, and there are eggs and babies in almost every nest.

Here are some of the new comers on the block, along with two older babes who just had their first baths today and who are in the process of weaning.

What are you going to do with all of these?!

I like the second from last one. He has a nice orange hue.

Hi Dylan,

Some I will keep, others will go to new homes when they are old enough.

Yes, the little one with the honey hue is very pretty. Takes after it's Mum, but with more colour. Picture of Mum below

So are you having to hand feed some of them? Or are you just supplementing? I like the color on that one as well, like a pastel apricot.

Just pulled them out for a quick check (one tiny late hatched chick, not being fed enough) then everyone else started begging and long story short, they all got a feeding  .... how could I resist :D .

They are weanlings who are not yet moulted into their adult colours. Once they're older, it will be easier to figure out their colour mutations.

Nice pictures, thanks.

At first, when I clicked on the post 'Zebras in Full Swing' my thought was to see some birds dancing to Benny Goodman. I really wanted to see that picture!
