Zebra mutations?
I have a normal grey male mating with a white female. Ive never had white zebs in my years if owning them. What will these babies come out like? Very curious to know. Getting so excited

Re: Zebra mutations?
Hi, White is recessive, normal is dominant. If your male carries white then you will get visual white offspring. (Recessive genes must be carried by both parents to get visual offspring of it) If your male does not carry it your will babies will only carry it and not show it.
You will also get normal gray and anything else your male is carrying (eg CFW, fawn etc)
Do you know if your white is a pure white or just a heavy pied?

Okay thanks, sometimes pied completely covers the bird making an all white bird but it is in fact a pied. I guess you will find it when you get babies tho!Finchluv wrote: Im not 100% but pretty sure she is all white. Ill take a picture

CFW is sex linked. At a guess the results of your babies will be same as mother and father and maybe a couple extra colors.
