Hi all,
Despite normal gray being dominant, is it possible for a male to be split/carry normal gray?
What I have thought to be a black face pied male has had no black face babies, but he has had normal babies. He was paired to a fawn for these two clutches. Guessing this means he is a normal pied and not a black face pied?
Thanks!
Can a male zeb be split for normal?

Black face is dominant, so yes, he could be BF split to normal. But usually you would call that "single factor black face". (I.e., heterozygous. One copy of black face and one copy of normal.)
