Basic finch breeding questions
Chloe - 2 year old chihuahua
Banana - 1 year old crested gecko
Penelope - zebra finch (age unknown, likely around 1)
Zane - zebra finch (age unknown, likely around 1)
Takisumi - juvenile double tail betta fish
Alex - 2 year old veilltail betta fish
la negra - adult guppy fish
Banana - 1 year old crested gecko

2. No, they are very good parents, not known for throwing chicks out, can also foster other finches as well as societies.
3. Maybe. It is possible, but you need a really good foster pair, because canary babies don't act like finch babies when they first hatch - newborn finches turn their heads to the sides to ask to be fed and canaries stand up high. If the nest is covered, the finches can't feed the canaries if they're pushing their heads up into the roof. It can work if your finches use an open canary-type nest basket.

Societies will hatch anything in their nest, and usually Gouldians are one of the species they have the easiest time feeding.
