Society/bengalease mutations

Post by Fraza » Sat Jun 16, 2018 7:18 am

So I bred my chocolate self and coco ( grey pearl society Male ) to try and produce some of my own mini grey pearls lol or some minor slefs looking like coco as I need a younger version of him as he’s already about a year old :D

So here’s pics below of parents and chicks don’t u think the youngest chick is rather light compare to the other I thought it was a zebra chick at first

Fraza

Two of the nestlings look to be Euro black browns/ chocolate selfs; their feathers appear to be quite dark, so they will probably end up looking like their mother. The other one is too young for me to tell. Maybeee it's grey, but I don't really know. Or maybe it is a zebra finch like haroun said, which would explain some things.

Fraza

Yep, they should all be selfs, provided that none of your pied birds mated with the female or laid eggs in the same nest.

Sounds good.
