I know they say that when a hen is older, she won't produce very many eggs per clutch. I have a Gouldian hen that's about 4 years old. She's been laying clutches of 2 eggs. Is that low? I'm guessing it's up to the individual bird.
I acquired her several months ago and I don't know what was normal for her when she was younger.

Most of my young hens lay 4 to 5 eggs.I have been getting 4 young on average fledge.
