I’ll be very appreciated if anybody could give me advice.
I found my female green singing finch’s lower belly has been swollen in last few days(please see the photo attached), I’m not sure is it only the fluffy feather or the belly or the cloaca because I don’t feel like to catch her so I can’t have a close look. She recently accepted the other male because I have seen several times that the male fed the female and the female was vibrating her wings at the same time. There is no nest and I didn’t supply the nesting material either.

Seeway they can still lay eggs even if there isn’t a suitable area to lay them or breed
It looks like she’s may be getting ready to lay however she looks to be coping fine her wings are well tight closed and standing straight up I wouldn’t worry just supply some extra vitamins with veg etc
