Siskin-Siskin hybrids

Hi all, Does anyone happen to know whether a siskin-siskin cross would yield fertile chicks? Thank you! Alecia
ajhunter - Hi, in the 1990s I had red hooded siskins and black-headed yellow siskins in my aviary. One clutch of babies had an orange one in it. Turned out to be a beautiful male, great singer and the fastest flier I've ever owned. I didn't attempt to breed him, so not sure if he would have been fertile.
Which two species of siskins are you talking about?
