has anyone any tips for breeding cutthroates?
i have a pair in a double breeding cage at the moment they built a nest on the floor & are currently sitting on eggs,i have a heated bird room & make sure to supply plenty of grit.
just looking for some advice & tips

1-supply plenty of live food. Cuttlebon
2-if u're in norhhemisphere, u should continue to heat the room cuze the hen will not spend the night with offsprings since the 10th night.

Im based in the Uk i have a pair of cuthroat in a double breeding cage they seem to lay eggs but then abandon the eggs after a few days constantly & im wondering why?haroun wrote: Hi they should hatch this moment

ive been told not to feed mealworms but im a complete beginner with them
any advice would be appreciated
