Infertile Owl Finch Eggs

Post by The Maltese » Sat Feb 23, 2019 10:17 am

I have 5 owl finches in a colony, with three females.

I get many eggs but all of them are infertile :(

I am sure i have 2 males and 3 females and most of the time i can see that they have coupled up. After an austerity period i feed greens, sprouted seed, egg food and a good finch mix. What am I doing wrong?

Are you absolutely sure you have 2 males?

Are the male really mature (+1 year). Do they do properly their job when they copulate.
Try to supply E-Silinium in addition to what u givethem.
May be u should separate each mate in separate breeding nest.
