Can any one tell me when the zebra finch breeding season starts and finishes.
I have 2 pairs in a indoor cage and they are rearing 3 young ones at the moment but they keep laying eggs.
I will be moving them into an outside aviary in a couple of weeks.
Any advice would be appreciated

Re: Breeding season
Zebra finches can basically breed anytime, as long as it is the right temperature and they have a good diet. The pair should have a break after they finish rearing the chicks, so remove the nests.
Have a nice day!
