Anyone know why this black breast zebra fledged with bright orange cheeks? I have a number of other mutations in the flock but I can't figure what could cause the cheeks.

black breast don't have tear lines either. I have OB in the flock, as well as penguin, lightback, fawn, florida fancy, CFW, Continental CFW, black cheek and grey cheek. I can't seem to figure out what else this chick has that has put the cheeks on him so early. This is a new flock to me, some of the mutations I haven't worked with so maybe the answer is obvious and I just don't know it.....

He was born in an aviary, no idea on parentage. He's busy molting now into a black breast orange breast it seems, but I wouldn't be surprised if he has a third layer of mutation. I will post an updated pic when he has fully installed all his adult plumage :)

whoops nope, I was wrong. He's molting into a black breast. No OB. Had to look up what a BBOB looked like. Working with multiple mutations that are new to me is...confusing!
