Im facing a problem with one of my male gouldian. His last clutch was unsuccessful. The clutch had 5 eggs. He started to incubate the eggs from 3rd night. He stays in the cage whole bight and comes out in the morning. No one incubate the eggs in during day tome. He continued the same behaviour next fay as well. On 5th day both hen and cock started incubating at night . And during days time they take shifts. No gap in incubation from 5th day. I believe this will kill embryo. Pls correct me if am wrong.

please help me to overcome this issue . Thanks

That is unusual.
In that there is nothing you can do to affect the outcome why not treat it as a learning experience?
Leave them undisturbed to let them finish the job and you will know the result in just a few days.
Let us know what happened.

Some people buy false eggs and replace the real eggs with them. As soon as the eggs have been laid, they replace the false eggs with the real ones. The advantage of this is that all the chicks are then the same age. I keep sterile eggs, mark them with a pen and then use them in the same way.

If you do that be sure to turn the eggs you take out at least 2 times per day or they will not hatch.
