As far as I can tell I have 3 baby Goulds, these are my first. I have had baby Zebras and Societies which are the easy ones. So these are a big deal for me and them. I try not to bother them anymore then usual but with this weather change we are having here it keeps me checking on the family which are out side in my building.

Congrats!!!! Hopefully the pair will care for the young and raise them up like good little gouldians. Do you still have your societies on stand by just in case?

Congrats, Heidi!! Those first Gouldian babies are wonderful. Yes, this changeable Texas weather makes it harder to care for our flocks--30s one day and 70s the next--crazy! Keep us posted, please.

All is well with my babies, they have pin feathers and looks like one is going to be yellow like the dad, we will see. I'd take a picture but I goofed when I stacked cages and I have to use a mirror to see the babies. I can open the nest box, but its to close to the roof. Thxs all, there will be pictures when they start to fledge.
