societies-1 males,2 fmales?

Post by subersibo » Thu Dec 25, 2008 1:31 am

If I keep 1 male society w 2 females in the same cage and provide 2 nests, will this work? Or is it better to keep just 1 female w/ the male?

I cant see any problems with the three being together. I have 9 adult societies in a small aviary (3m x .75m x 2m) and they get along well.
they still try to get into the same nest at night. even when a hen is sitting on eggs, the rest still pile in of a night. havent had any broken eggs yet ( touch wood)
Addicted to Finches, yes I do admit it.
I pray they never find a cure.

Yeah Societies seem to think the more, the merrier - no matter the gender! Enjoy!
