Birds Unlimited?
Does anyone have experience dealing with Birds Unlimited. I was looking to buy a divided breeder cage from them, and e-mailed to request a price on it. But the e-mail came back un-deliverable (info@birdsunlimitedinc.com).
Does anyone know a current e-mail for them?
Also, are they a reputable company to do business with?

Haven't heard of them, but the prices on the double flight and single flight, if they are HQ or A&E, are so low that it leads me to believe these might be old prices. If they are current, $199 is an outstanding price for the double flight!

Looks like a clear out sale. Everything is marked down. Maybe they're going out of business?

I think you are right, Deborah, my email to them just came back undeliverable too. Looks like they are already out of business.finchmix22 wrote:Looks like a clear out sale. Everything is marked down. Maybe they're going out of business?

I'm going to move this to Resources, which is where all the other threads about vendors are going.

Re: Birds Unlimited?
birds unlimited is a local store here in louisiana. they've had that website up forever and i don't think anyone monitors it at all. some of the stuff even has $0 as the price. i've tried to order those "free" things a few times just to see what would happen. i got a confirmation about my order and then nothing. i expected a "we're out of stock" email, or a "sorry, but you can't have that cage for free" email, or even for the lady that runs the store to say something about it (since she knows me), but nothing. the actual store is small and they hardly ever have anything in stock. so unless they have a secret stash of products somewhere, i don't know where the stuff they're selling on the web site comes from. you'd think a store called birds unlimited would sell birds, occasionally? go figure. i'd venture to say don't bother even trying. i'd hate to think of someone giving up their credit card info and getting charged for nothing

I wonder what's up with that? Sounds like an odd way to run a business.

Re: Birds Unlimited?
about three weeks ago I ordered a case of 4 30" with dividers from country feathers, they got here fast and I find them easy and reliable. I purchased some that were on clearance the case was only $64. They were on clearance because there is a gap at top of divider, however it was less that an inch and I just added a ziptie to close gap up and they are perfectly fine. I was also happy when they came because the grates now pull out, in my older cages they do not so it makes cleaning easier. They just mailed out catalogues, if you contact them they will send you one. they have a website also!
