Do you have an Avian related website?
Hi,
Since there are no real bird stores/suppliers in my area, I end up having to order most of my supplies online. I have found some good sites online, but I would also like to support fellow forum members.
So, if it is okay with the mods, I would like for any members who have websites that sell birds, supplies, medications, seed, etc, to post their links here. I know many of you include them in your signature, but that's not very accessible when I am just looking to find a product. So I was thinking it would be handy to have them all in one place.
Maybe just list your wed address, and a quick description of what sorts of things you have available.
Mods, maybe this could even be a sticky, either here or in Marketplace, if you think that is more suitable???

I think this would make a wonderful idea for a sticky
Just let me check with the other moderators first.

I think we had considered this before but I thought it was decided that websites change or disappear so quickly it would be difficult to keep it accurate/up to date. Though I'm not exactly opposed to it, I can see this point of view..
Most of us have our info in our tag lines if we have a website or sell product

I know a lot of members do,nixity wrote:Most of us have our info in our tag lines if we have a website or sell product
. I know I can also go into the members list and sort it so all members wih websites are brought to the top, but many of those sites are no longer active or have nothing to do with birds.I know many of you include them in your signature, but that's not very accessible when I am just looking to find a product. So I was thinking it would be handy to have them all in one place.
So it's not very easy to find members' websites when I am online looking to order stuff, so I usually end up googling what I can't find on my go-to sites. I would just rather support forum members than random places on the internet.

I believe this is why it wasn't adopted the last time it came up. The list simply becomes redundant or outdated very quickly. As members come and go - their websites do as well.nelloyello11 wrote:I know a lot of members do,nixity wrote:Most of us have our info in our tag lines if we have a website or sell productI know I can also go into the members list and sort it so all members with websites are brought to the top, but many of those sites are no longer active or have nothing to do with birds.I know many of you include them in your signature, but that's not very accessible when I am just looking to find a product. If it would make it easier - any forum members that have a personal website as in the title of this thread - are more than welcome to post it in the new sticky that is being created for members' websites.
