Great online store - Birdsupplies of NH

Post by Ursula » Sun Jan 22, 2012 8:15 pm

Just wanted to share how pleased I am with a store I bought seed from a few times now. It's https://www.birdsupplynh.com/. I buy mostly ABBA seed from them. Not only is the seed very fresh but I also think it's nice that they try to save their customers money by looking for the best shipping deal. This time they reimbursed me over $10 for cheaper shipping after I had already ordered and paid! And the order was processed and filled on the next day (I ordered in the evening).

Just thought I share this in case somebody is looking for a good place to buy from.
Walk-in aviary with Waxbills (6 Cordon Bleu, 3 Orange Cheek, 3 Black-rumped, 1 Lavender, ), 1 European Goldfinch, 4 Gouldians, 2 Spice Finches, 6 Owl Finches, 4 Budgies and 2 male Button Quail.
I also have 2 parrotlets, 3 dogs, 1 snake and 3 freshwater fishtanks.

I've ordered from them too and also have nothing but good things to say. One time the box got all banged up and damaged in shipping by the shipper, but it was so well packed on the inside that nothing in the box was damaged at all. Even so they were great when I told them that the box had arrived damaged and said they would have replaced anything damaged in shipment.

Definitely a favorite supplier.

I see now they are selling a brooder like I've been using for years. My husband made mine from looking at the water nanny and using things we had around the house at the time. Good to see they have become readily available now. They work so well, now I wish mine was portable. :D https://www.birdsupplynh.com/catalog/pr ... 9a52d2bf9b
Here's what mine looks like:

I live in Nashua and go to the real store all the time for my bird supplies. Not only are they very knowledgeable and attentive to their birds, they are GREAT people!

I cannot recommend them highly enough. They really take care of their birds. Every time I go in there, they will take out a bird for me to play with -- whichever one I want. Last time was a Caique, the time before the Sun Conure that I was considering. All their birds are hand tame, and you can tell that they are "bird people" through and through.

People go in there for services such as nail trimmings and such on the weekends. Last weekend, a lady was there with a huge, beautiful McCaw.

I would not hesitate in the least to buy online from them. And no, I don't work for them or are related to them in any way, but I'm sure they're going to charge me rent soon for the amount of time I'm in there playing with the birdies... lol!

I love BSNH but I would never buy seed from them again. The two times I got Abba from them it was infested with moths and I spent all summer eradicating them from my aviary
