finch breeder database question #2
My Gouldian pair in the plastic nest box had 6 non-viable eggs. They are now in a wooden nest box & have 2 eggs so far; for which I started a new clutch for them. How do I get rid of their first clutch? or show the eggs as non-viable?

Re: finch breeder database question #2
you should be able to edit clutch info and delete the clutch, or under notes write eggs not viablefinchandlovebird wrote: My Gouldian pair in the plastic nest box had 6 non-viable eggs. I think Dante is right. I keep the clutch listed, but make a note, so I can refer to the pair in the future and know what happened with successful or not successful clutches. There is an option for edit, top right, I think.

I dont delete my clutches either but it is possible to do that. Click on the little green circle thing on right side of clutch. It will then go to a list of the eggs etc. Down at the bottom on the right is a button to "delete clutch".

Thanks Lori, but only one of my pairs has a green circle. How do you get them all to have green circles?

Re: finch breeder database question #2
Once you create a pair, you add the eggs and incubation date. Then, you save it. After it's saved, you can go back and edit, which is one of of the green circle/wheels. One is for the pair and the other is for the clutch. Click on it and you'll have edit options.

I know about the green circle at the right. I was thinking about the dot to the left of the pair name; only one of mine is green

Re: finch breeder database question #2
That is something you mark on the pair, under edit pair, to indicate if they're a good or bad pair. Meaning, do they raise a clutch successfully or are they tossers. The green wheel type symbol to the right is for edit options. The green to the left goes green or red, depending on what you put for each pair.
