Fantastic video! Makes me long for the good old days of 2007 when so many of the African species were readily available.

The Bird Keepers Guide they outlined in the video, the bar with the icons and numbers, is just plain cool! That is extremely helpful and pretty simple to understand. Someone should add that type of guide to a handbook for the finches commonly kept in the US/Canada.

These are awesome resources. I have most of them too. They make you drool over species you one day hope to have. The softbill one is great. Even my cat enjoyed watching them!

cronista you at least did the right thing. The person posting this is not the author of those documentaries. These are pirated versions most likely.

I actually know the author of the documentaries. He goes through a lot of trouble to make those documentaries, using all his local connections and networks to provide the birds for the footage and probably losing out sales from pirated you tube versions.
The man who owns the copyright to these videos does post on youtube like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTGU9W0P58c

Definitely pirated versions for which the illegal poster is gaining revenue from through advertising.
Pity YOU TUBE does not monitor it.
