Bird Move!

Post by RockinCanary » Sun Mar 31, 2013 4:41 pm

Hello All,

I will be moving my birds 450 KM on Wednesday in weather that is in and around 7-10 Celsius. The birds consist of 9 Zebra Finches and 1 Canary. I will be temporarily re-locating them to a cage which is meant for 4 birds as opposed to their double flight. If any of you have any tips it would be appreciated!

Thanks

Although Nobody commented on my last post I am happy to report that all my birds survived the move despite the frigid temperatures here in Canada! They will be placed back in their double flight later today!

Congrats on having everyone handle the move.. I am sure they will be happy to be back in their flight again.. I am going to be moving in a few days myself and all of my birds are crowded into one cage right now too. I am looking forward to getting settled and spreading them out a bit then. I will be trying to find a flight cage for them soon. As I know they will like that a lot better. :-)
