At last my own copy.........

after months of wanting my own copy I finally got one.
'encyclopedia of estrildid finches' is what I am talking about.
so if I am not online for a few days (other half reckons I will read & type at same time) its cos my nose is buried in the book.
I couldnt get a copy of it any where in australia, had to get it from the usa. weirdest part of that is that even with postage it was cheaper than the prices I had been quoted by australian shops.
have to admit though that one thing I have learnt (that did manage to sink in) is that no matter how much you read or are told by others, nothing beats practical experience.
