It's a beautiful little book, packed with pretty pictures and loads of information. Yes, this series is a good one indeed.
I saw another interesting series that I would love to get my hands on, but they want over a thousand dollars for the full series

so no, I won't be getting that. It's got something like sixteen or eighteen volumes, all big hardcover tomes, about birds of the world.
Those other books are on their way, and there are several others which I ordered as well.
